L L Cool J American Rapper never thought that his phrase invention became famous
Born James Todd Smith on January 14, 1968, in Bay Shore,
Long Island, New York, U.S., LL Cool J is an American rapper
and actor, a leading exponent of mid-1980s new-school rap
and one of the few hip-hop stars of his era to sustain a
successful recording career for more than a decade.
Having started his career more than 40 years ago, at 16, he’s
old enough to know how significant he’s been in pop culture.
A two-time Grammy Award winner, LL Cool J is known for
popular hip hop songs like “Going Back to Cali”, “I’m Bad”,
“The Booming’ System”, “Rock the Bells”, and “Mama Said
Knock You Out”, among R&B hits like “Doin’ It”.
LL G acted in 1985 and first appeared in Krush Groove.
The term “GOAT” (Greatest of All Time) was coined by
Muhammad Ali’s wife in the 1990s. LL Cool J later
popularized it, naming his 2000 album “G.O.A.T. featuring
James T. Smith: The Greatest of All Time,” crediting Ali and
street ballplayer Earl Manigault for inspiring the term. Which
became the inspiration for athletes and sports players.
In recent interview he said that he never thought that his
